Before that, I was not very interested in going to animation festivals. However, after going to InMotion last year, I understood that I should go more often. These events can give good opportunities for work and networking.
I think I should travel more and meet more people around Europe. In this way, I could have more chances to find opportunities in animation and in the creative industry. Many professionals from the industry who came to talk to us during the course also suggested this. They said that meeting people, showing your work, and being present at events can be very useful for building a career.
Festivals can also help me meet artists, students, professionals, and studios. Apart from the professional side, they are very inspiring. It is nice to see other people’s work and listen to their opinions. This can help me learn new ideas, understand different points of view, and improve my own work.
For this reason, I think going to more festivals would help me not only for my future career, but also for my personal and artistic growth.
